I had an amazing experience in Everton Hostel that I won't never forget. I felt like in a big family with a manager, a supervisor and staff members really cool creating an easygoing atmosphere. The hours and tasks are fair, you do different kinds of shifts in the week (cleaning, reception, breakfast) and with only 16 hours working a week you have the time to enjoy the city, to move around or just to chill. If you want to meet people from all over the world, to improve your english by having fun, just do it. ;)
I would like to thank you for the wonderful month I had in this place. Incredible people and incredible moments that I will always remember with great affection. Thank you Daren and Peter for giving me the opportunity of this great experience in my life! A big hug to everyone and see you next time!
The most disgusting place I've ever been to.
The hostel itself was old, dirty and in bad conditions. Nevertheless, the worst part yet was the staff dorm. Loads of people living together in a prison like place. Obviously as dirty as you can imagine, with towels and things hanging everywhere. I was not able to walk properly along the room due to the amount of bags, shoes and luggage. Definitely not big enough for the amount of people living there.
When I got to my bunk THERE WERE HAIRS on it, meaning that they didn't even change the sheets.
DON'T EVEN GO THERE, IT'S DISGUSTING.
