From June 21 to June 30 we will organize a series of meetings, concerts, screenings, book presentations, walks in the woods and much more at our shelter. We hope many people will come and for this reason we are looking for 3 volunteers to help us in the reception, to do the cleaning in the various accommodations and spaces and to cook vegan food (breakfast, lunch and even dinner) for the people who will come.Learn more

Desi and Davide (and Arturo) were really, really great hosts. They care about the animals so much, and know them all so well, talking to us about each of their personalities. I felt great to help support the refuge, all the animals, and them as nice people. I still miss Peppy and Rocky (sheep and goat). The apartments for volunteers were a little rougher than I expected, but all quite functional, and Desi and Davide were immediately helpful when we had any needs. The other volunteers were great cooks and also really nice people, we had many great talks. I highly recommend Agripunk!! <3 <3
Living is better knowing that Agripunk exists and that many animals have a happy place to live in peace. Desiree is a great person and I learned a lot working with the other volunteers. We are used to see in documentaries about animal cause that each animal has their own personality, but taking care of them is a strong experience to understand this in another level. My tips for volunteers: don't go with big expectations about the accommodation. maybe it's better to wait until spring/summer to go, winter is too cold!! a sleeping bag may be useful. ask Desi to tell the story of each animal! <3
I stayed here a month and don't regret a minute of it. The two of them are extremely welcoming and friendly as are all of the animals. Whether you're staying a week or a month there's bound to be an animal there you'll come to love. Once you get used to the work and the routine the it all becomes very homelike and easy to settle into. There's a very beautiful town nearby if you fancy a stroll and a drink in the evening. Or if you fancy exploring some of the hills which surround the area you can hike up to a castle on top of the hill which you'll see everyday from the farm. Would recommend!!
