My time the hostel was the highlight of my year! I met a bunch of lovely people both guests and and especially volunteers! The place where we stayed was lovely and had a very social feel. Carlos is great. Not only a great host but a truly genuine kind individual who was extremely accommodating to everyone! He went above and beyond over and over again: driving us and showing us around the rainforest, to the ferry, showing us beaches, offering to help me learn Spanish and much more. I've always wanted to visit Puerto Rico and I think this is the best way I could have done it!

The hostel was my first volunteer experience and it couldn't have gone any better! Carlos is amazing, very nice, helpful and attentive. The hostel is very clean and organized and it's a walking distance from beautiful beaches and local places. I loved staying at the hostel, I've met so many cool travelers and volunteers and the whole experience was awesome. I would recommend this hostel to everyone!

My stay the hostel was amazing! The work was easy and simple, the hours were always respected and fair. Working was honestly just a tiny part of the stay; it only made me feel more excited for the days off and made me create an actual itinerary. Carlos was very flexible with the schedules, always trying to help out if we wanted to do day trips. One thing to note is that the stay can get expensive. I highly recommend taking the bus as it's much cheaper. I also felt very safe in the area as a solo female traveler. Make sure to visit the other islands and interact with locals! I'll be coming back!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I absolutely loved it! Carlos is an amazing host and very accommodating. The other girls on the staff were lovely and I met so many amazing people. The work was easy and I had lots of time off to explore the island. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you the hostel!
