The experience

Hi there,
we are a medium sized Hostel in the Heart of Tirana and we are looking for a few more hands to help us during the season. We have been the second Hostel in Albania and we opened our doors in 2009.
We are looking for energetic and open-minded people to help us with the basic Hostel work like helping to clean the house, checking guests in and out, helping at the Bar etc.

What you offer

26 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Between 21 and 47 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Activities & Shift

We will have different shifts. The morning shift is about helping with the Breakfast and helping to clean the House. The afternoon/night shift is about checking guests in and out, helping at the Bar, preparing BBQs or taking guests out to some Bars or a restaurant.

Rules

We can only host volunteers that speak min intermediate English. If you speak additional languages it is a big plus. We are searching for volunteers that can stay with us for as long as possible. The minimum is 3 weeks but we will always prefer the one who likes to stay longer.
