In April, May and June help is needed with things like mowing grass, working in the vegetable garden, erecting tents and some construction work. In July and August you assist us with the campsite (mowing grass, horse riding with children, cleaning tents, face painting children, cleaning facilities, cooking). In September and October the help can be on the farm including cleaning stables, or cutting wood or maintenance of our buildings.Learn more

Oxymoronically, mine was bittersweet—sweet for the overall stay:lovely community, teamwork, flexibility and opportunity to meet and engage with people of like-minded.It was bitter when it dawned on me that I had to leave, much as my hosts and I desired for extension of my stay. The bond was great, the swiftness with which Arnord and Bernadette responded to requests and the compliments they gave even when I felt I did not do well, impressed me.I loved the landscape, the privacy/comfy of the sleeping wagon/caravan and natural surroundings. My greatest times were those I spent with Vox,my dearest friend.
