I really like my experience in the hostel!!! I had a great time with the girls, who works there and all the amazing people that I meet through my staying. I have plenty of time to enjoy Split. I find an amazing activity, zip line, everybody should give a try !!! Thanks to my fairy ✨❤️

I loved staying in Backpakers the hostel this month, the work is very simple just cleaning toilets, floors and changing sheets, and i would normal finish a bit earlier than 12, normally leaving time to have a breakfast break with the other workers or leave earlier for the beach. The sofa has been changed also! So the sleeping situation got a lot more comfortable. It was my first world packers experience and I loved it completely, the staff is super welcoming and the hostel is very small, so it felt like a second home.

Overall, the experience was positive. The work is easy and can be completed in about three hours since the hostel is quite small. The location is great, and it’s easy to meet travelers from all over the world.
However, volunteers sleep in the reception area and only have access to their sleeping space from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM. Although I knew this before arriving, it was less comfortable than expected. It is not a real bed but a sofa with a gap in the middle, which makes sleeping uncomfortable. This is something future volunteers should be aware of.

Everybody who I worked with/met was amazing. The hostel is small, but it was easy to make friends. The common area was a good place to socialize. The views were amazing & the location was PERFECT. The only thing I would make people aware of is that the “private room” is only private from 10:00pm - 8:30 am because it's the reception room. The “bed” is a pull out couch, and it did have a hole in it. It wasn't the comfiest place to sleep. But usually if there was an empty bed in one of the rooms, you could sleep there.

Volunteering at the hostel was an amazing treat! Antea is soo cool and super friendly. The work is very easy and the place is very homey. I really felt that im staying at home! And oh, the view from the hostel balcony is really beautiful. Highly recommended

I had such a wonderful experience at the hostel fairytales, I would recommend a 100% to volunteer at the hostel. Antea is an amazing and welcoming person, she will make you feel at home! The job is really easy and gives you time to visit around and meet a lot of people from the hostel and also the awesome workers. I can't wait to visit again ;)

Antea was a fantastic host! The work is super easy. Everyone becomes like a little family and I couldn't have had a better time if I tried. Location is absolutely INCREDIBLE! Thanks again for the best summer the hostel ❤️❤️❤️❤️
