Program Details

As a volunteer in El Cafecito, you will be working in a flashpacker hostel with many international guests. We aim at creating a more green environment by not having T.V´s, canned goods, or microwaves. We recently changed the location of our hostel in Cuenca to place with a rooftop restaurant/bar with a spectacular view of Cuenca and the Cajas mountains, so we need a lot of help in marketing, social media, socializing, party planning, and other activities.

Activities & Shift

You will be working about 5 hours a day (5 days a week), in exchange for free accommodation and one home cooked meal a day, often shared family style.

Rules

We expect from volunteers that they do not need baby-sitters, policing or give us more work than we already have. A positive and responsible attitude are very important.
