The Experience

I own a lovely B&B in the beautiful Piedmont region of Italy. Work activities include cleaning guest rooms after check-out, general cleaning of common areas, helping me cook and serve meals for guests, help running laundry, and help shopping for food and supplies. I run an elegant villa and am looking for someone who can mirror that quality. I'm working hard to rebrand the B&B as a quality establishment, so attention to detail is important.

My experience at La Casa Celeste was excellent, Arlene is a very dear person and the tasks are not difficult, I only have compliments for both Arlene and La Casa Celeste, I hope to return in the future. And thank you very much for everything.

Thank you for a lovely review, Gui! I am so lucky you found La Casa Celeste and came to help me. Also, thank you for extending your stay when my other volunteers had to cancel. I would be lost without you. You have done such a beautiful job with everything: painting, cleaning, gardening, and helping me with guests. I wish you all the best in your future and you are most welcome to come back to La Casa Celeste. Thank you for everything... you are TOP!

My experience in La Casa Celeste was totally amazing!!!! I feel like the luckiest traveler fo being able to be in such incredibly place. Arlene is an astonishing person, she took a lot of care of me during all the time I was there. She is an excellente cooker (her pizza is the BEST) and boss. I learnt so much from her and I really admire her. The tasks were not difficult and I always have a lot of time and pool for myself. She helped a lot with everything I needed and we had so much fun.
I highly recommend this place!! I would love to come back in the future! :)

I had the best time at La Casa Celeste. Arlene is a wonderful host. She cooks amazing and always gets sure that you have everything you need. I felt like if I was home. I had my own room, bathroom and kitchen. The tasks are easy and Arlene is always there to help or to answer your questions about them. And the B&B is an amazing and beautiful place, very calm and peaceful. The sorroundings are great for walking in the nature and exploring some cute Piamonte towns and, of course, Asti! This was my first experience as a volunteer and I couldn’t have asked for a better one. I totally recommend it!

Agustin, thank you for the beautiful review! I so enjoyed having you here at La Casa Celeste. All I can say is, "wow!" You did such an amazing job with painting Mondovi and Asti Suites, I can't believe you never painted before. And, your attention to detail when turning over guest rooms is absolutely terrific. Thank you so much for all of your hard work. You are one of the kindest people I have ever met. I'm so happy that you had a great time here in Asti and Piemonte. I wish you all the best... your future is very bright. You will be missed. Enjoy your travels and please keep in touch :)

This wasn't my first volunteer experience, but I can say that Arlene was one of the best hosts I have come across so far! She is very kind, caring and well-organized. She counts on you to be self-reliant as she is often busy in her own part of the house, so once you know your way around, it is up to you to carry out the work properly! The schedule was flexible and I had my own room. The B&B is in a peaceful place not far from Asti , I had plenty of free time to explore the surroundings, and I got to interact with the guests and see how the establishment was run. All in all, a great experience!

This was my first worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one! Arlene was kind enough to have my pick up arranged at the station and dropped me off! During the stay the tasks were simple, the schedule was flexible. She was available for support or to clear any doubts. She cooked delicious food and was a pleasure to be around. If you want some peace and quiet, this is the perfect choice for you. The view from the B&B is breathtaking! Lovely place, private room and bathroom, great host, doable tasks and amazing experience!

Thais, you knocked it out of the park!!! Hard to believe this was your first experience. You did everything so beautifully, thoughtfully, and left absolutely no loose ends anywhere or in anything you did. The B&B is shiny, fresh and clean after you gave it your special attention. A thousand thank you's for all of your help. And, those fabulous breakfasts you prepared are greatly missed. La Casa Celeste misses your bright and gentle spirit, and most of all, your smiling face. Buon viaggio! Take care, enjoy your travels, and never hesitate to reach out to me if you need anything I can help you with. I'm always here for you. Muah!
