The Experience

We need help to paint some rooms. We need someone responsible who can work independently who knows what he/she is doing. Clean rooms after being painted. A careful and detailed person that will not make a mess with the paint. We do not need a professional painter but basic knowledge of painting ( taping before painting, covering the surfaces, etc). Also, we want a person who respects and follows the rules of the hostel.

Brazil

I can say 100% that this was the best experience of my (short) life so far. I won't be able to thank everyone involved on that, but I can thank this place for the great memories and the friends I will carry for life! This place is a hop away from the beach, Hermosa is an incredibly beautiful beach, and pretty much everyone staying at this hostel is friendly!!! The work hours are great and, personally, I enjoyed a lot staying at the reception. Angelica is great and I will be forever grateful for her. Surf City Hostel was my home for a while and, ugh, what a great place to be able to call home!!

No fun. The worst experience in my life. The manager wants you have to be 24/7 ready for her to fix everything. Boring 24/7. No cool at all

Gianmarco was only here for a week, after being here for only 3 days took a 3 days off to go to go a party and we could not talk about the schedule. Never had this experience with any worldpacker. We were glad he found another place and worked out for him.

My experience at Surf City Hostel was amazing. Angelica, the manager, is a very sympathetic and flexible persone who runs the hostel in a very professional way. I would definitely come back to repeat the experience.

I spent a total of 2 months in the hostel. The people working in the hostel were amazing and the manager, Angelica, is one of the sweetest people I've ever met! I do, however, recommend people to come here during the summer. As the hostel wasn't very busy when I was there. The job was not very difficult. There were 2 types of shifts: reception duty and cleaning duty. I worked max. 20 hours per week and sometimes less. If I ever worked more than 20 hours, I worked less the next week. I really enjoyed my time here. Big shout-out to Angelica and Chris. You guys are great! :-D
