I had a great first Worldpacker experience at the villa. The work was easy and the working hours very fair. Don't be scared to come here even though you don't have any reception experience, Walid and the other volunteers will teach you everything. The accommodation is nice since you have a lot of space for clothes and things. Best thing about this place must be the location, 2 minutes from the beach. I met so many amazing people and I had a great time at the hostel!

Location is 3 min walk to the beach and close to a ton of restaurants/bars/shops. The work is super easy, it's a welcoming atmosphere & Walid is really good about communicating/being flexible. This is definitely not a party hostel if that's what you're looking for but I met a ton of cool people and really enjoyed my time at the VILLA. Would def recommend if you're looking for a chill place to experience Puerto Rico!

As my first Worldpackers experience the hostel was great. The work is easy and schedule is set out way in advance so it's easy to make plans around it, and it's a perfect location as a base. San Juan is a super fun place and I had a great time with the other volunteers, as long as you stick to the rules you'll be good. If you wanna be able to go to the beach everyday and make new connections with people (and cats - cleo owns the villa) then I'd recommend volunteering here!

I had such an amazing time volunteering at the hostel! I seriously couldn't have hoped for a better first worldpackers experience. The hostel itself is so cute and everyone I worked with was amazing. The location is great (2 minute walk from the beach) and the work is super fair and simple. I would strongly encourage anyone to come work here and to visit San Juan. It was a truly fantastic 6 weeks!

My experience in the hostel was really good! All conditions from Worldpackers website were met, there were no problems with schedule or additional chores. Work at the bar was very easy and enjoyable, however sometimes became boring, because of very few or no guests. Communication was very clear since the beginning and I never had any issues. My fellow volunteers were beautiful people, who made this experience unforgettable! The hostel is in great location surrounded by restaurants, bars and most importantly it's really close to the beach :) I had a great time 🫶🏻

My first experience with Worldpackers was amazing from de beginning to the end. Walid made me feel super welcome and home, in two months I didn't feel homesick once. The hostel is super well located in ocean park with everything you need near by, the beach ocean park is 5 minutes walk and you also have the bus 1 minute walk away. The room is super, everybody has space for their clothes even if it's a lot of clothes like I had and free Landry once a week👌🏼 Walid's cat Cléo is so loving I miss her PR unforgettablememories Thank you again Walid for trusting me and giving me this opportunity

My first world packers experience and lets just say I think my travel addiction has started. the hostel has been nothing but welcoming and made me feel apart of the team since day 1. Margot, the manager was super informative about the responsibilities, tasks and expectations which made my volunteer experience smooth. Walid the owner, was also very kind and made sure everything was good, I really appreciated the group meeting we had in the begging to make sure everyone is on the same page and communition was clear. Overall 10/10 stay at the hostel!!

Had a great time at the hostel! All the volunteers were super nice and Walid is super communicative! Not a party hostel, so know what to expect. Work is 5 days a week, 5 hours a day and the work is super chill. Location is perfect, a couple blocks from the beach.

It was my very first volunteer job through WP and i need to say that it changed my life forever. The staff is super friendly and Margot (manager) and Walid (owner) are super helpful and kind. Broke my teeth on the first week and Walid helped figure it out. I improved my english and talked with travelers from all around the world. Got to explore the island and went to the beach everyday (literally a 5 minute walk). You get trained by other volunteers and the job it's not complicated, you get help when needed but they also get freedom to make your own calls when needed. Hope to come back soon.
