The Exchange

PDS is a community designed to address challenges to attain sustainable development. Village members are united by sharedsocio – economic and cultural spiritual values and are characterized by efficiency energy use, enhanced recreational values, encouraging biogas and local food production, sustainable reliance on local resources and investing on environmental conservation. The overall goal is to build an economically balanced society.


25 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.


Over 18 years old

Program Details

Educational tours and workshops related to the project theme and other development issues will be organized to provide an opportunity for participants to be more informed on social, cultural and economic realities of the area. The major topic will be sustainable living, please bring information from your home community for sharing.

Activities & Shift

Activities of the project will include:- Establishment/Management of tree nursery; Maintenance of the organic vegetable garden; Composting activities for organic garden and education;; Organiing educational activities on sustainable living & healthy eating, Fish farming education and maintenance, environmental skills and so on.
