As this was my first worldpackers experience, I've never had more of a fun time in my life. The connections I've created with some of the locals that visit the studio are some of the strongest bonds I've ever made. After my two weeks ended, I never regretted more not being able to stay for a longer time. Not only that, everyone that you live with are always extremely nice and supportive. Everyone is always down to explore and try new things. As my first experience, this was unforgettable and will never be topped. If I could, I would come back in a heartbeat just to see the locals again.

I couldn't have asked for a better first volunteering experience. I spent a great month talking with students, learning about Korea, and sharing my own experiences with them. Russell is a great host who always made sure everything was going well and checked if we needed anything. Since volunteers organized the weekly schedule themselves, we had plenty of time to explore Daejeon and nearby cities. Korean students are usually quite shy, so you need to lead the conversations at first. Daejeon is a calm city compared to Seoul, with nice cafés, mountain trails, and easy day trips to nearby places.

This experience was undoubtedly one of my favorites! The time you spend with the students at the studio is truly fun, and every conversation leaves you with new knowledge and memorable moments. It was my first time in Daejeon, and even though it has a completely different vibe from Seoul, that's not a bad thing at all. The city has many nice places to discover, delicious food to enjoy, and since I became the coliving with the students, I was able to explore many hidden gems they recommended to me. We even got to hang out together! Don't miss out on this experience, I truly recommend it!

Working at the language studio was actually really fun. You get to meet a lot of new people and learn about korean the coliving. Also, although daejeon isn't very famous you'll definetly find fun things to do and explore.

This is my second time volunteering with a Langsyoung franchise, and I also extended my stay here for two weeks to a total of four. That tells you how confident I am in recommending them. Talking with the students is just as fun and rewarding to me after 3 months as it was the first week. Each of the language studios and cities is a different experience, and compared to Gangnam, Daejeon is slower and calmer. Russel was easy to work with, but there's less structure in the accommodation here, so it's up to you and others to work together keeping the accommodation clean and organized.

This experience was an amazing way to meet so many new people! The other volunteers were mostly easy to get along with and the students were very kind and engaging. I loved my time here and would absolutely come back! The work is exactly as described with plenty of time to explore Daejeon and the surrounding areas. Russell was very accommodating and kind - though we did not have much interaction outside of the studio, he made sure we all felt comfortable and welcomed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an engaging and authentic experience!

I had a lot of fun in the two weeks I spent here. In the end I wished I had more time in Daejeon. It's a clam city but when you research a bit and chat with the Koreans you will find lots of things to do. I loved going on hikes with the others, the views were stunning. All the students are very nice, they want to get to know you usually easy to maintain an interesting conversation. The time spent in the studio went by very quickly and before the shift there was always more than enough time to explore :) Russel was also very kind and helped us wherever he could. Would love to come back :)
