It has been an unbeatable experience. The apartment has everything and Russell is always attentive to ensure that everyone is well and comfortable. Daejon is a city that has everything and is well connected for visiting other cities like Seoul, Busan, and Jeonju. The work at the academy is very interesting and you have the opportunity to get to know Korean culture and tradition explained by locals. 100% recommended!

I loved my time at the language studio in Daejeon! I only stayed for 2 weeks, but I wish I stayed longer. All the students at the studio are really nice, and I made life long connections with the other volunteers. The work is fun and easy, and you get to learn a lot about Korea by talking to the students. And even become friends with some of them! Russell is an amazing and incredibly sweet host. Daejeon is also a good location to easily explore other Korean cities in your days off. Overall a lovely experience and I would love to come back!

This was my first Worldpackers and I absolutely loved it! I would highly recommend this to anyone as it's such an good opportunity to make local and foreigner friends. The work was super simple and it was a really cool experience talking with Korean students. I have made lifelong friends here! Daejeon itself is very pretty and convenient to travel to other cities such as Busan and Seoul over the weekends :) Russel was super kind and always asking if we need any help, very accommodating. Thanks for everything Russel :)

The whole experience was great! I got to meet a bunch of new people and help local Koreans get better with English. Russell was super sweet, he is a wonderful host and helps answer questions when needed. I really got to meet a lot of the locals and hang out with them! I recommend this language the guest house to anyone! I hope to come back in the future!

This was my second worldpackers experience and I had a great time. The work is very simple and the students are all very friendly, same with the other volunteers. I was free to spend the majority of my time however I pleased (e.g. to explore Seoul and Busan over the weekends). Daejeon as a city is really nice, there is a lot to explore and there was always something to do, also it is very easy to travel to other cities from Daejeon. I highly recommend the experience! Thanks for having me :)

A wonderful experience. You get to learn from and enjoy talking to locals as they practice English. Everyone is super nice. You get a fair amount of days off to spend time and explore South Korea. Would definitely recommend for a first time experience.

This was such a wholesome experience! I quickly made friends and memories that made my stay in Daejeon such a wonderful time. Seoul is only an hour by train, and Busan is only 2 hours, so you have plenty of free time during days off to explore the whole country!

Always felt welcome and made lots of local friends and international friends. Good hours of volunteering with enough time to plan out your day of exploration and leisure. I loved the experience of learning more about Korean culture!

Great experience with Russel! This was my first ever Worldpackers trip and l really enjoyed it. Russell is very kind and helpful. He was always there if we needed something. Even looked after us when we were sick. The academy is nice and clean. The working hours are also very good, plenty of free time to enjoy Daejeon and do your own stuff. The students are very nice as well, I have made lots of friends. At the acommodation we had a good team and hopefully will see them again soon somewhere in the world :) I definitely recommend this academy if you coming to South Korea! thank you Russel :)

Russell is the best! Daejeon is not the busiest city to be but my experience was great because the manager and the other volunteers made it very homey. Talking to korean people made me learn so much about korean culture every day, Russell was also teaching us free korean classes to help us with daily life. It's easy to go from Daejeon to other major cities in Korea and the schedule is flexible which allows a lot of short trips around. The dorm is nice, they give us basic food and supplies and Russell is always willing to help and make you feel comfortable here.
