Made lots of new international/local the coliving. Russell, the host, was very welcoming and generous. The work load is as expected— 4 hrs per day for four days at random on average. Many cool places to visit around.

I stayed in this program for almost 3 months, and honestly would loved to stay more. The experience as a whole was extremely rewarding, connected with a lot of people, not only volunteers but also with the students. I recommend this program to people that are looking for a long term stay! The city is the middle of Korea, so you're able to visit around the coliving days off. Russell is such a nice person and makes sure that everyone feels comfortable at the studio and at home. Daejeon is a calm city but it has a lot to explore if you look into it!

This is the best experience I've ever had 💓 Thank you so much Russell for providing this interesting opportunity for people who are really into the korean the coliving ! Daejeon now become a must visit for me every time I come to Korea. Also the facilities provided in the accommodation were so convenient. You have everything you need. And I never expected to have this much fun while communicating with locals, they were so respectful and smart. I highly recommend this opportunity for everyone who is interested in Korea.

What an experience! If you're seeking an authentic , local experience look no further. It was a very memorable time having great conversations and developing meaningful relationships with locals and other volunteers. Conversation sessions here are straightforward as long as you remain curious and open. It's quite easy to get into a rhythm after the first 2 sessions. Scheduling can be flexible and quite generous. I learnt alot more about Korean people and the coliving, you will absolutely meet all sorts of personalities and have an amazing time. Come to Daejeon with an open mind :)

Being in this program was truly and unforgettable experience, the work is so rewarding, easy and also, you get a chance to meet amazing people which was the highlight of my experience. I stayed for almost 3 months but time flew by. You also get the chance to travel around Korea since the city is located on the middle of the country . I would recommend it to anyone who is looking to stay for a longer period of time.

Being a volunteer at this language studio in Daejon is definitely a experience I recommend! The host was super friendly and will help you any time you need it♡ The apartment was completely enough and the provided food was amazing. You make a weekly list and he will order it (perfect). My roommates were all very nice and we had interesting conversations at 2 am in the living room :) Daejon is a wonderful city with a lot to do and people will give you tons of recommendations. In the studio the 'students' are super nice and excited to talk to you. Wonderful mix of people to talk to.

This place is really nice to stay! Russel is friendly and took care that we had everything we need. The studends of the language cafe are very lovely and I could learn a lot of new things about the korean the coliving. I would clearly recommend that place! 🤗 I lived in a 2 room appartement with 5-7 other volunteers. We had a kitchen and bathroom and every week we could send Russel a list with food we needed. The work was even less than expected. I worked 3 to 4 days a week. The cleaning of the apartment did we by our self. So it's so clean like the volunteers are. 😅

My first time volunteering through worldpackers was honestly such an amazing experience. Russell is super kind and welcoming, which made everything feel comfortable from the start. The work itself was pretty easy, and I really appreciated how flexible the schedule was,it gave me enough time to explore and enjoy the city. Daejeon is seriously underrated. It's not as crowded as other cities in Korea, but there's still so much to see and experience. Definitely worth exploring if you want something more chill and authentic.

My experience in Daejeon was absolutely magical! The work was easy and really rewards, and every day I felt like I was actually learning something new. The city itself is beautiful, with lots of nice spots to spend time in, and it's also very well connected to the rest of Korea, which made weekend and day trips super easy. Russell is incredibly helpful and really tries to accommodate your needs as much as possible. The apartment started feeling like home very quickly!! I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone who wants to connect with real Korean life and the coliving!!
