We are welcoming hostel in Beppu hot spring city. Explore the area which is the second largest amount of hot spring water discharge in the world, and the largest amount in Japan. Had a great time staying here in Beppu, thankyou for being so flexible and welcoming:) The work hours were really great, as soon as you do everything you can finish early, sometimes it might only take about an hour so you really have the whole day to yourself still:)

Amazing place, the hosts super friendly and the works was proper easy, had tons of time to explore beppu and Kyushu!! Definitely recommend this place, kitchen was also nice and WiFi is fast. Only thing to be prepared for is: don't expect a luxury room, it's a hostel so the room you will be using is a little run down, (especially the toilets) sometimes you will have an occasional cockroach but they are quite chill and rarely show, don't leave any food in the room and you be golden! Also they provide a mosquito killer plug which helps a ton, there's lots of mosquitos in beppu!

I had a wonderful experience volunteering here! The guesthouse is a bit old but nothing that affected my stay. Being able to use the hostel everyday was definitely a highlight! The staff, the guests and the local community were incredibly kind and welcoming. The workload is also very reasonable, leaving plenty of free time to explore the Beppu and the surrounding area. I would definitely recommend this host to anyone looking for a chill and friendly atmosphere and great balance between volunteering and exploring the Kyushu region!

I truly recommend this place! The environment is chill; The job is easy and fast; There is an the hostel to relax everyday; The volunteers' rooms are comfortable and spacious; The location is perfect; The owners are two very nice guys (Masa and Got); The guests are mostly Japanese, so you can practice the language all the time; The city is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and the sea. I'm glad I stayed for such a long time.

I had a wonderful time volunteering here! The hosts as well the regular guests at the hostel were incredibly friendly. The work load was easily manageable and usually takes 1-2.5hrs to finish, giving you time to yourself to explore the city and surrounding area. The volunteers also have their own dorm room away from guests. I would definitely recommend!
