Our farm is 81 acres. In 2019 we planted 490 young olive trees and 200 walnuts, they need pruning, weeding, water in summer and hoeing. Fence maintenance against wild boars roaming is needed. We also have about 100 truffle trees that need some care, although they are older, 5 years. Our vegetable garden and chicken coop needs daily care, and someone with previous experience would be great!

The farm was a very deep and introspective experience, due to its isolated geography. I had a lot of time alone, with deep contact with nature and my inner self. So if you are willing to such an internal trip into yourself, I totally recommend this experience. the farm crew is very respectful and friendly, though I have to say, that maybe they could just take better care of their beloved volunteers that come sometimes from so far, so full of fears and uncertainties. Starting with improving and better maintaining the volunteers premises, and fixing the water shortage problems.

I had a wonderful time here, doing my first volunteering. The area is very beautiful and peaceful, on Tuscan countryside. Nicolo, Mia and Santi are super nice, very friendly, flexible, it was very nice to spend a month here. Finally, workload is very manageable, tasks are diversified so you never get bored :). I would definitely recommend this volunteering 🤗

The tasks were pretty heavy, Mia expected me to finish a lot of hard work in the same day, and it was also pretty annoying when she kept asked me on the phone in a petty behavior during the day if the task was done. I only had a few hours a day to rest and then you were expected to cook everyday for dinner or wash the dishes, I couldn't relax, it was tiring and draining my energy,my back and arms ached from constant vacuuming and wiping, my hands were blistered and injured. I showed her my injured hands, she didn't even apologize, she was ruthless and lacked empathy.I had to cut my trip short

Nurdan didn’t find what she was looking for here with us. She never did a volunteer before us, therefore she had high expectations I guess, she was looking for a holiday retreat instead of a volunteer exchange.
We never asked her to do more than what we normally do.
She never respect the schedules and it was very difficult to know what she was doing during the day.
No one was happy with her so I kindly invited her to leave and we had a nice chat…
I am sorry you took it personal Nurdan!
Wish you learned something from your experience here.
