My experience at La Hamaca in Utila was amazing! Oscar was the best manager, and we all became a little family. The island is small and you quickly get to know all the locals, it's such a nice community. The hostel is beautiful, you work on the bar overlooking the ocean and see the sunset each night! I 10/10 recommend volunteering here, I myself plan to return when travel is aloud again :)

La Hamaca Hostel was so fun EVERY DAY! If you want to enjoy your volunteer in a cool place with art, music and a bar every night with nice people and also others travelers, this is your place! All the staff there made me feel so comfortable and always were pending of me, they teach you how to do the tasks there and they aren't difficult. I worked as bartender and photographer. Also the hostel is in a safe place, you can easily go anywhere, wait for the nights... there are also other nice places in the city to go and have fun after finishing work! This place is awesome, I totally recommend it!
