I'm so grateful for my time at the guest house. Séan was kind and attentive. He knew I had a remote job and always made sure I could do it well. I have allergies to some of the things we cooked, and he was flexible.
There's always plenty of food; you can help yourself to whatever you need and use the kitchen freely. The group of volunteers I shared this experience with was wonderful.
Séan really cares about you in his own way. Keep a good attitude, do your work well, and listen to him, and you'll see what a good person he is. I'll miss this place!

My first experience as a volunteer, and I can say that was a very good one.
The island is beautiful and peaceful.
I had the opportunity to be involved with the management of the lodge, because of that I was talking with guest all the time, I meet amazing guest during my stay. In this position some days would be really long and some others really easy to manage.
Accommodation for me was fine, you have your own room.
All the volunteers I met were awesome! My experience with Sean in general was very good, so I’m grateful for the opportunity.
Inishmore is beautiful, I definitely would recommend.

This was my first time volunteering with world packers and I can truly say this was an amazing experience. The other volunteers were amazing from start to Finnish all very helpful and put me straight at ease when I arrived .
Sean is very generous and sticks by what is agreed with the working hours ect . For the tasks I had and being on the island was sometimes a challenge but Sean and the other volunteers were there to help . The locals in the area are all very friendly and also helpful. The island is absolutely stunning and although quite remote I would definitely recommend.

My experience that the guest house was very positive, even though it was my first volunteer experience. The facilities is beautiful and the work is demanding but it depends on how many volunteers are on hand at the time. The island atmosphere, along with the volunteers warmth, makes the experience truly enrichment. I highly recommended it! Sean is kind, sometimes he struggles to trust but when he does the work is enjoyable. He was also understanding with me regarding the language barrier a special manager Monica and the new manager Adriana who made my stay very pleasant and filled whit love

The Lodge offers great voluntary job oportunities on a remote Irish island, where working hours are fair and the owner is generous with providing rooms, food, car rides and bikes. I was able to take over a more responsible job than planned and I liked that very much. The owner wants things to be done in his way - fair enough, it's his place. And he listens if people are suggesting changes. He knows a lot about the island, its history and former culture and shares that with the volunteers.

Thank you Monika for your kind words. We have been working with Worldpackers for many years. We have had many wonderful reviews over the years. We would like that to continue!. We appreciate and love the energy and vibrancy that they all bring. I will continue to evaluate my own role and also what we offer so that participants will continue to benefit well from the experience with us.

I had a great experience at the guest house! The environment is cozy and very well-structured for volunteers. The work is easy, although housekeeping has several steps. The island is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views. I would definitely recommend volunteering here!

I volunteered here for three months and it was a wonderful experience. The work was fair and straightforward. Sean always respected the agreed hours. He created a welcoming atmosphere and regularly held team meetings to share ideas and to improve the lodge in the best way possible, for guests as well as volunteers. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with full access to the kitchen and we could use the bikes for free to explore the island. I met amazing people, practiced my English and would highly recommend this remote place to anyone who enjoys nature and cultural exchange! :)

I really enjoyed my experience at the lodge. Sean, the host, is incredibly hospitable and generous. He us a room in his home, separate from the work making the environment peaceful, ingredients at our disposal to cook what/when we needed to. Hours were fair and followed. Our task preference and days off were respected and taken into consideration. Tasks were fair as well! 5 weeks was the perfect amount of time to spend here. There's not much to do socially, it is what you make it with the other volunteers, but there's plenty to do outdoors!!

I cannot say enough nice things about Brenda! ❤️She is a fantastic leader and incredibly helpful and wants everyone to have a wonderful time. She made this experience SO much fun - it felt more like visiting a friend than work. The island is gorgeous and Sean clearly cares about it.

One thing that could be clearer is that the owner wants everyone to perform all roles, not necessarily the one that was specifically applied for. Not a big deal - just something to be aware of.

I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to spend time in a peaceful, secluded environment!

It was a beautiful experience. The lodge is cozy, charming and very welcoming. You learn how to do many different tasks and the work is fair and manageable. It also gives you enough time to explore the island and enjoy the experience But the best part is the people. Brenda, the manager, is very kind and always ready to help. My coworkers were amazing and very patient with my English In summary, if you want to discover the real Ireland and improve your English, the guest house is the perfect place
