This was only my second volunteer experience but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay this hostel! I will be transparent and say the days are long. I felt trapped some days because the shifts are split into 2 hours then 5 hours. You get 3 days off but they are not consecutive. The hostel is very busy so you will be running around a lot! We get free breakfast and one free dinner per week. We do pay for events and dinner but drinks are discounted! Overall I did enjoy it here, the staff was so welcoming and loving. I also made strong friendships. I will probably be back despite the long days! 😊

Dani is an amazing host and I met so many incredible travelers as well. I also loved the fact all the water was drinkable unlike a lot of places. I had a situation in which I had to extend my stay and the host and staff were completely understanding. The other volunteers were great as well and we still maintain a friendship to this day. Would highly recommend here!

Without a doubt, the hostel is a fantastic place for your next volunteer experience. The reception and kitchen staff are incredibly friendly, fun, and always make you feel welcome. The facilities are beautiful and inviting. I also thoroughly enjoyed practicing my English daily and interacting with people from all over the world. The program allows you to explore San Cristóbal at your own pace and fully enjoy the experience. I'm leaving very happy and grateful for everything I experienced. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely loved my time in the hostel. The work hours are split up throughout the day, so you have plenty of time to explore. The hostel is huge, has breakfast included for you with occasional dinner (if you work that shift) & a really good gym too! The team is lovely & supportive. Dani is a wonderful host — no better place to volunteer in SanCris!
