The hostel Hostal, it's a nice place if youre looking for social activities and foreign interactions. Also is centered and easy to move around the town and the nature too. There's flexibility in the different shifts available, and the volunteers house is amazing. I loved my stay in there and praise to all the local staff that I work with 🤗.

My experience in the hostel was really amazing. I met wonderful people and my tasks were simple. Even though there is a big difference between each shift. Some are more easy than others. But I could easily switch them and Dani was always helpful. The only point is the volunteer house which is a bit dirty because no one comes to clean it. But its nice to have this extra space because the hostel is really a social place. So all in all I would recomend going if you want to connect with international travellers and get to know San Cris :)

I had a great time in the hostel, the staff was great and so were the other volunteers. The tasks we had were simple, and one could easily finish the shift and still enjoy de afternoon or the night. It's a great place to practice your english, since most of the guests are foreigners. the hostel has a very common effect of making people not want to leave once they get there hahaha

What can I say, having travelled to over 40 countries, staying at 100s of hostels, this may be one of the best I've ever stayed at! Working here was phenomenal, the team are amazing and so caring. Hours are fair and breaky and dinner is always of such a high quality, volunteers also have the nice touch of staying in a house a few blocks away which gives you that extra space sometimes needed for some R&R. If you are sociable / fun person who likes to meet new people then this is the place you want to volunteer, just make sure you have your days off on a Wed or Sat free cocktails though 😂
