The Experience

The focus of the Anovafloresta Center is training in Permaculture techniques and bio-construction. Activities are accompanied by theory in Permaculture and support aimed at transferring knowledge. Volunteers do not have repetitive tasks. The idea is to teach through many different activities, each time connected with the theory. The topics are varied: Permaculture, bio-construction, agroforestry, animal care, water management, etc...

My experience at anovafloresta has been wonderful. It's the perfect place to learn about permaculture and bioconstruction both in theory and practice. Stephan is very knowledgeable about sustainability and a projecttalented teacher. I got to participate in different kinds of projects and Stephan was open to teaching me whatever I was curious about. Communication about the volunteer work has always been clear. Jasminy and Stephan were really attentful to our needs and when conflicts arose they listened and handled it respectfully.

Stephane showed and teached us alot of what we needed to know about permaculture and how it works. From planting trees, to cutting coconut's and repairing the house in the projectsustainable way, we could take part in everything and learn about the processes. Very cool experience, I would do it again! PS: Maybe next time not in mosquito season. Because its like the projectjungle there is loads of them. Bring mosquito spray!

Our journey in the projectforesta was great. We had nice activities in making bioconstruction and learn about permaculture. The Stéphane 's project has been much interesting for us.

The projectexceeded my expectations by reminding me of the sanctity and hardwork that's necessary to build the projectrelationship with and to nature. This experience made me face what true energy means and the intention needed behind spending it. Stephane is patient and incredibly knowledgeable, the projecthost for the books. Leaving my stay in Trancoso with the projectfull heart and the projectdesire to continue learning, thank you Stephane 🌱
