The Experience

We run a hotel/log house business, so the main tasks are housekeeping (clean the rooms as well as the shared areas [onsen, toilets, main building]) and gardening (wood chopping, grass cutting, take care of the small garden) and other occasional tasks (painting, Karcher...). We expect you to help from 10 am (after check-out) to 3 pm, with 2 days off per week. Only 2 dormitories, gender-separated (couple will not be able to share a log house) (:

It was a brilliant experience. The room was very nice and cozy and the surrounding scenery is so beautiful and peaceful. I found some lizards, crabs, and humongous butterflies during my stay! It was a very relaxed trip, giving me lots of freedom and time. Manon is one of the kindest people I've ever met and is always smiling! She gave me information and recommendations of Kochi and always ensured that I had everything I needed to do a job.
