The hostel is a small bubble of tranquility on the coast of Alagoas. I can only recommend the hostel if you are looking for a calm volunteering experience in a well-equipped, well-maintained and tastefully decorated pousada. What sets it apart from others? Its location a stone's throw from the ocean and the Maragogi boardwalk, and its excellent homemade breakfast, prepared with care every morning. I had already fallen in love with the hostel as a guest, and as a volunteer I only reaffirmed that feeling. Andrea is an incredible woman and very kind. Deyse also made the experience amazing. The environment is delightful, the tasks are simple, the schedules are respected, and everything is open to discussion. Once again, I felt really at home. I hope to return soon. I met a lot of great people and made friendships that I will carry with me for life. Everything contributed to making my first volunteering better than I imagined. And Maragogi is magical. I miss it already!

It was my first volunteer experience and it exceeded my expectations. Andréa welcomed me very warmly and was always kind. I also had a really nice exchange with Dayse. I wish them a lot of success! The work was very smooth, it was the off-season, but even so I managed to meet other travelers from all over the world. Not to mention Maragogi, which has beautiful beaches. I recommend!

My first volunteering was at the hostel, and I would say it was perfect for learning. The tasks are simple: reception, cleaning of some common areas, helping Deyse (employee) in general, and taking care of the garden. I was treated very well and warmly welcomed by them. I felt that Andrea trusted my work and made me feel very comfortable. The hostel has good facilities and is facing Maragogi Beach. In other words, it has a perfect backyard. Grateful for these 22 days in this little corner ❤️

O hostel is quiet,has a structure ótima, breakfast gostoso and fica a meia quadra da praia de Maragogi. Tem vans que levam pras praias.. vá para Ponta de mangue e Antunes :)
Fui bem recebida pela Andrea e pela Deise, que é funcionária e dá todo o suporte no dia a dia...as tarefas são bem tranquilas.
A Andrea tem uma vida corrida, viajou algumas vezes enquanto estive lá e por isso senti um pouco de falta de troca de experiências...com ela e com voluntários, pois era somente eu de voluntária.
Maragogi tem praias lindas, com agua cristalina, cidade tranquila e segura. Vale conhecer 🩵
