Andy is a really nice host. Since my stay was short, I spent most of my time there sightseeing. The job was easy and I never felt like it was a hardship. The other guests were friendly and took me in right away, and even though I was only there for 10 days, I enjoyed San Diego immensely!!!!

I had so much fun! Very laid back and so so nice, loved it! The location was very convenient and had a lot to do around! I recommend this to anyone that wants to experience more social interaction and have more fun :)

The hostel was truly an amazing experience. The host is very welcoming, and makes it clear what the help expectations are from the beginning. the work is very light, and there's no specific schedule, highly self motivated. the sleeping situation isn't for everyone as during my stay i was on a couch, but if your like me you really don't mind! he also makes it very clear from the beginning sleeping on a couch is likely. it's a great place to work on your Spanish as many people there speak it! overall it was an amazing stay and i cannot wait to come back!

The hostel was an experience that was atypical in every way and one that has special spot in my heart. The work is mostly doing what needs to be done– cleaning the kitchen, folding towels/sheets, and tidying up common spaces. It is important to note that living was tight with volunteers needing to change where they sleep sometimes. The space can also get dirty pretty quick, however, everyone contributes creating a close knit environment. The two weeks that I spent here flew by quickly and I recommend to anyone wanting to make new connections. Thank you Andy and everyone else staying there <3

This was my first ever hostel and Worldpackers experience, and it was amazing. The work was a manageable and the people who stayed there were so warm and welcoming. Andy was always there for any questions or concerns which made the experience so smooth! Grateful for this trip in so many ways!

This was such a great experience! Had different expectations but nevertheless in reality it was way better! The vibes are super chill and really felt at home there :)) Would definitely come back if I have the chance! Recommend!
