Apart from this, 2-3 days of the week you will be deep cleaning the kitchen and common area during the night, from around 23:00 until 2:30AM.

You will become part of our team for at least 1 month. We ask for 20 hours of help per week. Schedule is organized together with other volunteers, but you always have half of the week off. When you are here though, we expect you to be present, social, and friendly to all of our guests.
SOCIALIZING: When you are on shift, you are expected to be actively connecting with the travelers that are staying at our hostel. Make them feel at home!
NIGHTSHIFT: You clean our kitchen and common areas when they close for our guests. This means some deep-cleaning every shift, and making things look ready for the next day. Occasionally you need to let in a guest that is late or has lost their key. You sleep in the office by the front door when on shift, and also have the phone with you in case of emergencies.
DINNERS: You, together with our reception shift, are in charge of organizing a dinner and cooking + socializing together with our guests.
OVERALL HELP: Sometimes we ask for your help with busy days - jumping in for a daytime cleaning/housekeeping shift if someone is sick, and helping with small tasks if you\'re around. :)
We are not a party hostel and therefore do not accept excessive alcohol/drug consumption.
We ask for open and positive attitude, as well as respect and good communication.
