The hostel was very welcoming, and everything was well organized and the job is easy and from the beginning everyone tried to help you. I stayed at Portugies the guest house for 4 weeks, and it was my first experience as a volunteer. I met amazing people and had such a wonderful time. The work was relaxed, the shifts were always from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and you get one day off every three days, which gives you plenty of time to explore the beautiful Algarve. Especially Hellen and Pedro are both super warm and welcoming people, and Hellen in particular puts so much effort into making sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. I can truly recommend this experience 100%! 🌞🌞🌞

This was my first solo trip with Worldpacker and it was simply magnificent! Pedro and Hellen are attentive, very kind, and help you as much as possible! The work is very simple and quite enjoyable! You'll have time to visit Faro and the surrounding area! The days off are quite flexible and allow you to organize your time! Pedro responds very quickly, which is great! I met lots of good people and had no problems with the other volunteers (who were just awesome) or with Pedro and Hellen! Thanks again to them for this experience!🫶🏼

Working hours were always respected, which allowed me to visit a good part of the Algarve. The hotel is located right in the center and the room is large enough for all the volunteers.
