The Experience

Hello, wanna join us for some days under the sun helping in a guesthouse in the beautiful city of Faro? We need help with paperwork (I hate it hahaha), cleaning, and general maintenance of the space (we have an extension of the hostel across the street, you're going to help us on both buildings). Artists who can contribute to their art are very welcome too :D At this moment, we only have positions for women becuase of the dorm available.

This experience was everything I could have asked for, for a first time worldpackers trip. Pedro and Sonja were so welcoming and I felt safe. I met people from over ten nationalities and made great friends, who I will stay in contact with for a long time!
My friend who I initially came with fell very unwell, Pedro and Sonja were not in the country but still managed to help us, providing her a private room, checking in at the hospital and not asking her to work and understanding when she had to leave.
At the Portuguese element you will find friends, great experiences and kindness.

I spent 3 weeks living and working in The Portugese Element and two other guesthouses my hosts have in Faro.
I felt very welcomed by everyone, even though the owners weren’t there by the time of my arrival we were always in contact.
The work is not really hard, after ew days it was a routine, the working hours are mostly what’s planned (sometimes also less) The location is perfect, in a calm area but close to some nightlife….The room is good, pretty big and being worked on, Sonja always has an open ear about concerns and wishes :)
Thank you so much Sonja&Pedro&everyone i met🧡🧡🌞

Mi estadía en The portugues element estubo bien.
