Program Details

You will start tasks at 08.00 in Summer and work until 10.00 helping with general household and/or farm chores. At 10.00 the volunteers take a half-hour break. Most have breakfast at this time as they do not like to eat early. At 10.30 you will start preparing lunch and do some prep for dinner. Lunch should be ready at 12.30 after which the volunteers are free to spend the afternoon as they wish. At 18.00 you will come in for an hour to get the dinner ready (most of the prep should have been done in the morning) and make sure the kitchen is clean, the floor is mopped and everything packed away.

Rules

WE HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR DRUGS AND DRUNKENNESS. In the past, we have allowed people to consume alcohol in moderation at the farm but unfortunately, we've had one too many situations where guests have consumed too much alcohol on or off the premises and we've had to deal with everything from aggressive, threatening and argumentative behavior to dangerous behavior like setting the place on fire while trying to fry food on the gas while drunk. So we will not allow alcohol on the premises in the future and anyone returning to the farm intoxicated after drinking too much elsewhere will be asked to leave the farm - no second chances.
