The experience
My name is Talab Khan and I am from a small desert village in Jaisalmer and running a hostel (Safari Jaisalmer) and an artistic cafe right next to the Jaisalmer Fort. We have our own Camel Safari and Desert Safari Camping Tours so we need help for our hostel and tours.
With 10 minutes walking you can reach the market and with 15 minutes you can reach the Gadisar Lake, which is an amazing place with such a great view to enjoy the sunset.

What you offer
24 hours of help per week
Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.
Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.
Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.
Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
1 day off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!
Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.
Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.
Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!
Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.
Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.
Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.
Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.
Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Intermediate English or Intermediate Hindi
Between 18 and 75 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

We also organize desert-safari and if you volunteer and would like to join it's possible as well.
We provide you food and accommodation in return for your help with computers, internet and speaking with guests and making sure they are happy. Nothing difficult.
We speak Hindi, English and Korean languages.
