Gabriel was a great volunteer! We really enjoyed having him stay with us. He is always so positive and willing to help with anything that needs doing. He carried out all his tasks with patience and dedication. Hope you have more wonderful experiences Gabriel!

A Casa Ecológica Paraty is a wonderful place, great facilities, beautifully decorated and super peaceful. Lena is super chilled and trusting, leaving worldpackers to set their own hours, therefore the work is suited to someone with initiative and autonomy. But there's also opportunities to socialise with other worldpackers, the host and guests, we shared a lovely meal together! The hours leave plenty of time to explore the city of Paraty, and to enjoy the relaxed surroundings of the house.

Não foi um boa experiência. Apesar de ser um espaço sustentável e comprometido com meio ambiente, o anfitria talvez ainda nao entenda o conceito humano por trás da sustentabilidade. Há que aprender o conceito mais aprofundado do valor das trocas entre as pessoas, exercer empatia e cuidado para com todos e assim receber o mesmo em troca. Ficou claro que para este enfitrião o voluntariado é apenas uma forma de economizar dinheiro através do uso de voluntários. O espaço dos voluntarios foi invadido pelo anfitriao diversas vezes (inclusive em periodos de descanso). Alimentacao nao foi fornecida
