The Experience

A small campground located in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, with ecological and sustainability principles. Ideal for anyone who wants to be close to the sea and in touch with nature. We have direct access to Morro das Pedras Beach, where you can watch the sun rise over the sea and it’s great for surfing! We need help with cleaning and organizing the bathrooms and kitchen, managing solid waste, greeting and guiding guests. Bring your tent.

Wasn't was I was expected. Even if Ion did his best, I had, unfortunetly, to leave after the first night.

My camping experience was very special. I stayed during the winter, so the first days were quite cold, but the family that runs the campground was extremely welcoming and helped me navigate the whole situation with a lot of care and attention. Throughout the stay I felt welcomed. Tasks that are easy to perform by people who already take good care of their own home. The environment is organized, calm, clean, and perfect for those seeking a connection with nature. It was a very learning-rich and welcoming experience. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again.

It was our home for two months and we stayed in a tent. We made the most of the sunrise, the beach, the sea view, and the sounds of nature at any time. The campsite provided us with everything we needed so that our experience would be wonderful and we would feel very comfortable. Thank you very much, Jéssica and Ion! 🙏🏽 I would definitely recommend this exchange experience and we will always come back. Thank you very much.

Volunteering at Morro das Pedras camping was my first experience, and certainly I was guided to this magical place; it was an incredible experience! The shifts are very well divided and the tasks are super calm; the hosts Jessica and Íon are fantastic people. I applied to stay for three months, but I had to leave after three weeks, which left me with a lump in my chest and the feeling of nostalgia before leaving the camping; I would have liked to have contributed more. It's worth waking up earlier and seeing the sunrise; it's really enchanting.

My experience at "el camping" was beautiful! The working hours are calm, flexible, and respected. The space is clean, organized and beautiful, facing the sea, with incredible sunrises, beaches and lagoons nearby. Thank you Jessica and Ion for your kindness and the experience.
See you next time! ☺️
