The Experience

Our reception opens at 07:00 am and closes at 12:00 am; however, the reception shift ends at 0:00 pm, so we require someone to help us between 07:00 pm and 12:00 am, 5 days a week. The tasks to be performed are fairly simple and allow the volunteer to interact with guests.

It's a pretty chill hostel located in a nice neighborhood. Overall, I had a good experience.

This was an incredibly rewarding experience! Bucaramanga is warm and steady — a place you could easily call home. The hostel and adjoining café are well-managed, and the staff are welcoming, offering a great chance to build friendships and practice Spanish daily. Shifts are balanced, allowing time to explore. The location is ideal: walkable to bars and eateries, and close to natural attractions like canyons and San Gil for rafting and bungee jumping. Excited to see how the project grows in the years to come!
