I cannot find the words to recommend Villa Eshta enough to anyone looking for an immersive workaday experience in San Juan. Walid is a wonderful host, friend, and person who works hard to keep his team happy, safe and having fun. The location of the hostel is absolutely perfect, wedged between the beach and one of the hottest nightlife strips in San Juan. I only regret not being able to spend more time here. In only one month I feel such a deep love and connection for San Juan, Calle Loiza and Villa Eshta. If you're trying to make a decision on where to volunteer to experience PR, choose this!

The month I spent at villa eshta was easily the best month of my life. I met the most beautiful people and lived in the most beautiful place. (Two minute walk to the beach). Walid is an incredible boss, he built this business and cares deeply about it. He has done an exceptional job creating his team. If you are selected to come to villa eshta consider yourself very lucky. The work is very easy mostly reception duties with a lot of time off. You will make so many friends here and feel like your part of a family. I could not recommend villa eshta and Walid enough!!!

Working at Villa Eshta is an once in a lifetime opportunity full of life changing experiences! Walid cares deeply about the staff, business and local community and you can see this in the day to day operations. The work is rewarding and very flexible, while also being in close proximity to everywhere in San Juan there is always something to do close by! I would fully recommend this adventure to anyone wanting to have an beautiful experience with beautiful people!
