Coming as my first worldpackers trip was one that I absolutely loved and so glad I did it. The environment was very welcoming
and they are such sweet people. I made new friends with other worldpackers that were also there at the same time. The food was amazing and the view is beautiful. Not only did I get the opportunity to learn italian cuisines but I also got to experience beekeeping. Their life made me reflect on my own; to slow down and enjoy it. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone as I will truly miss my stay with such lovely laidback people.

I had an excellent time taking the permaculture course. Alessio is very knowledgeable and i got to practice what he taught me in real time. My favorite part was getting to learn about beekeeping! Alessio and Maj Britt are both very welcoming, kind, and generous. For permaculture, you will stay in a tent with an air mattress. It is elevated so your belongings won’t get damaged if it rains. I found the temperatures to be comfortable during my stay in July.

My time with Alessio and Maj-britt was unforgettable. I learned SO MUCH about cooking, permaculture, and sustainable living, all while being in such an incredible place. Not only is the farm and property itself beautiful, the routine and vibe that they have created is truly ideal and makes for an unforgettable stay. If you go, you will have so many moments of peace, joy, and laughter. Whether you are going for cooking, permaculture, or to help around the farm, I cannot tell you how much i recommend this experience. You will love it!!

An experience I will carry with me for a long time. The team was so kind and informative as they walked me through home recipes, those of which we were able to play around with to our taste and resources. I also learned true standards to living sustainably and off grid. Weather was inconstant throughout my stay which caused the power to shut down a few times. But the home was always warm and well lit - reliant on sustainable resources. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in getting away from the city, especially with an interest in culinary and cultural integration

I had a wonderful experience with Alessio at germolgio farm. The area is beautiful, in the middle of the mountains with a stunning view. Alessio, was very welcoming and goofy. I had lots of fun moments with him, learned a lot, and ate some delicious meals! Alessio is an incredibly smart individual. I did struggle a bit with communication and at times it felt as though we weren't respecting each others time, but we had some effective conversations that helped us improve our relationship and scheduling. I highly recommend this experience if you like nature, cats, and want to get dirty!

Heartfelt thanks to Veronica for the month spent together; in this mutual exchange we shared a lot and learned a great deal, both of us.

Special is the word I would use to describe this experience. Alessio and Maj-britt welcomed myself and another so warmly into their home, sharing wonderful knowledge of traditional Italian cooking and making the most of the land around them. The farm is beautiful, and grateful I am now able to take back not only recipes, but the spirit and love that goes into true Italian cooking. I left the 7 days feeling inspired with a nourished soul (and belly) !! This is the perfect place to relax, with lots of free time in the morning to read or explore the area too, coming back in the afternoon to cook

I had an amazing week at the project! The hosts are lovely, super welcoming, and generous. Throughout the week we explored their property in the mountains, learned how to cook many classic Italian dishes, learned some history and culture behind their family recipes, and went for a few nice hikes. Their home is super cozy and welcoming, always lit with a warm fire, an abundance of delicious produce and local ingredients. I would definitely go back or even volunteer to help on the farm during the summer months!

I spent an amazing week learning to make incredible Italian dishes with Alessio and Mej-Britt! My week was very relaxing with amazing mountain views, wooded hikes, reading time with the beautiful cats, great conversations, and, of course, delicious food. They were incredibly welcoming and shared their passion for the farm, the properties and benefits of the products they harvest and make there, and their recipes and cooking techniques. Having now spent almost 3 weeks in Italy, I can say that the best dishes I have had were those we made at the farm! I wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

I had the most amazing experience taking the cooking classes! Everything the farm produces is incredible, and the recipes we learned were delicious. I felt so connected to nature throughout the process, and I learned so much while making the best memories. Alessio and Maj-britt are truly remarkable: insanely generous, genuine, and passionate about creating real connections. Whether you do the cooking classes or volunteer, you'll never want to leave! From picking fresh ingredients to sharing meals, every moment felt special. I left feeling inspired, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back
