It was an incredible experience! From the first day, the host and the entire team of staff were very kind, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. They make you feel at home from the very first moment. Moreover, having a private room made the stay super comfortable and peaceful to rest after each day. The work environment is very positive, getting along with others is great, and the organization was impeccable. I would 100% recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone seeking a great experience.

But I can't recommend this host.
The plan was for me to stay 2 months, but I stayed at most 2 weeks and had to leave.
And the other volunteer from Chile stayed only a week and also left.
I contacted WP support for immediate departure and to discuss the experience, and I left on my own the same day, because nothing that was said in the interview matches the real experience.
The host has a lot to improve regarding the way he treats the volunteers; it was a difficult experience.

I loved volunteering at the hostel! Besides all the people being super kind and welcoming, the schedules are extremely flexible. The hostel facilities are amazing, clean and comfortable, including the room designated for volunteers. The volunteers are treated with a lot of respect and affection, and I had the opportunity to practice English and Spanish all the time. I leave this experience with the desire to learn French as well!

Minha experiência nesse volunturiado foi incrivel!! As terefas do hostel são tranquilas, os horarios são bem flexiveis e davam pra conciliar com meus estudos. O anfitrião João é bem gentil e contribuiu muito para eu ter uma boa estadia. Fui muito bem recebida pela governanta Marta que criou um ambiente bem acolhedor, ajudando a me sentir em casa desde o primeiro dia. Aprendi muito com ela e sou muito grata pela convivencia. o hostel se tornou a minha casa e eu fui muito feliz nos momentos que vivi e com as pessoas que conheci. Foi uma experiancia que eu vou levar pra minha vida todinha!!!

Minha estadia no hostel foi muito boa! O João foi um host ótimo e super flexível com as minhas datas. A equipe é sempre presente e divertida; adorei a Marta e seu marido, e acabei fazendo amizades que tornaram os momentos ainda mais especiais. O trabalho é tranquilo, dá para conciliar com outras atividades, e a flexibilidade é um diferencial. E, claro, a Greta é uma fofura que conquistou a todos!

Foi uma experiência gratificante pois já fazia um tempo que não fazia voluntariado, então me reconectar com esse espírito viajante foi sensacional. Os staffs foram muito receptivos e a greta (cachorrinha) é uma companheira de caminhada maravilhosa. Só tenho a agradecer
