As a first time solo traveler and this experience being my first time alone abroad, I would highly recommend this opportunity. Rozina and her family are very accommodating and welcoming. Figuring ground transport from Kathmandu to Bharatpur was a big learning curve, but Rozina and her family are always open to helping and supporting which is one of the reasons I had very little issues the entire trip. The job itself is absolutely wonderful and Rozina is very clear about instructions. If you have little experience at a daycare or a kindergarten, this opportunity is a wonderful way to learn.

We had an unforgettable experience volunteering in the kindergarten. We had lots of fun dancing, playing with and teaching the kids. It was inspiring to see how they learnt. We enjoyed staying with Rozinas family, going on evening walks and even doing some open mic! Everyone in the local area is really friendly and the house isn't too far from the national park if you want to go on a safari.

We had a wonderful time here. Rozina and her family are kind-hearted and incredibly experienced with having the home live with them. The children in the kindergarten are the best, we will miss them! We loved our time with the children, playing with them and teaching what we could. There was every personality and I wouldn't have changed anything. Thank you for everything.

Such a lovely family to stay with. Rozina, her husband and her two children Nani and Babu (and grandma) are such lovely and welcoming people. The time I spent with them was lovely and full of experiences. Also working in the kindergarten was such a good experience and the working hours are really resonable. The children are so open to new people and love to play together. Thank you for everything!:)

I read the reviews before joining this project and already knew I wouldn’t regret it but this experience went far beyond my expectations. From the very beginning, even while I was still in Portugal talking with Rozina, I already felt very welcomed. Once I arrived, everything was even better than I imagined. From day one, I felt included, comfortable and surrounded by amazing energy, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
This family truly became a home away from home and leaving is definitely not easy.
Thank you for everything ❤️

This host was truly warm and loving ❤️ The whole family was so welcoming! I felt relaxed being myself and we had a lot of fun together. They took me to see places and local events. The town is out of touristic area so it is really good place to see the local life. There is plenty of freetime. And the food… do I even have to say? It is deliciouuuus! I hope I will come back very soon! ❤️

This was hands down an incredible experience from start to finish. Rozina picked me up from the airport and from then on it was tic tok videos and laughs. She has 2 amazing kids that I will miss immensely I instantly felt at home. The day starts at 9:30 with playing with the kids and dancing then there's class for an hour and a half then lunch more dancing and teaching. The kids are amazing and so much fun. I had loads of time after to wander around we had dinner as a family and then always evening walks which were so nice and then played games beware of snakes and ladders! I will be returning

Staying with Rozi and her lovely family was like being with family I didn't know I had. The accomodation was great, I had my own room, my own bathroom with hot shower. Rozi is a great cook, the food was wonderful and always too much. The Kindergartners were lovely and eager to learn, easy to interact with. I totally recommend this place. Tip. Bharatphur is in the home but not in the Himalayas, the climate is subtropical. No need to stock up on winter clothes.

A true home away from home. Rozina and her family are incredibly kind, full of energy and their generosity is unbelievable. The children in the kindergarten are very sweet and with encouragement from the teachers are attentive and enjoy a challenge. This opportunity really immerses you in the day to day life of a Nepali family and gives a glimpse into the lives of local children whilst building your communication and creating skill set. I will always cherish my time here. So much love.

This was my second time coming over to Rozinas and Suyeshes house and I couldnt have picked a better family to come back to. I dont think this is the best place to volunteer in Chitwan, I think this is the BEST place to volunteer in the home in general. Rozina and Suyesh are a must visit for any volunteer who are looking for a great host family and quality work. I have nothing but love and praise for them and their family. They are truly my second Nepali family and I cant wait when I visit them again. Just look out for Rozina she can be very clumsy hehehe😜😋
