I had a beautiful month at the hostel! Ángel really makes an effort to make you feel welcome and at home! The hours and tasks were respected, and as I study Tourism, I especially appreciated how much I was able to learn from him. Santander itself is a beautiful place to spend your time, with both the city and nature so close by. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend coming here to volunteering. I have absolutely loved my time at the hostel and am so sad to leave. I felt right at home with the whole team and absolutely loved working with them. They are all so kind and welcoming and made me feel like a part of their hostel family. They were all so incredibly helpful and gave great recommendations. The hostel is clean, well organized, and runs smoothly. Santander is a beautiful city and amazing to explore during time off, I had so many amazing new experiences during my time here. I can't wait to come back and visit!! I can't thank you all enough for this experience!

My time in Santander was great overall. The hostel is well located in the center. The shifts are very easy and quick and you have one day off. Angel really makes an effort and cares about whether you feel good at the hostel. It was super fun to meet new people every day and I made some great friends.
Ximena was also super lovely and I enjoyed working with her a lot.
The nature around Santander is beautiful and I loved going on hikes in the area.
You just need to be aware that the room you share with the other volunteer does not have a window and it can get stuffy at night.

I absolutely loved my time in Santander and couldn't recommend this experience enough! The hostel is lovely and is located right in the centre, making it easy to get to and explore once there. We were given our own private room which was great and I met lots of amazing people, including Angel (owner) and Ximena (manager when Angel's not there). I love love love Ximena, who I spent the majority of my work hours with, and I cannot emphasise enough how unbelievably kind and generous Angel was towards us volunteers. It was clear how much he cared about us and made sure we had the best experience!!

It was my first time doing worldpackers and I loved it. The hostel is small but cozy and really felt like a second home. Its really close to the main bus station so exploring Santander and Cantabria in general is very easy. The work was really fair and we always had plenty of time to meet people, exploring the city, etc. Angel is super nice and tried to help where he could and made us feel at home. He always had some tips for Santander which was really nice for exploring the city and the surroundings. It was a truly amazing time with Angel and the team!🫶 ¡Hasta Siempre!🐔☺️

I had a great time volunteering in Santander. The hostel is very the hostel, right next to the train station, making it easy to explore the city, beaches, and coastline. Working hours were respected, and tasks were simple to learn, leaving plenty of free time. The volunteer room is spacious and shared with the other volunteer. It is also a good place to relax away from the hostel buzz. Angel, the manager, communicates clearly and wants to be always helpful. As long as you follow the hostel rules, you can expect to have a really good experience here.

This was my first volunteer and truly the best first impression that I could have gotten to the world of volunteering. SCH perfectly located with the bus station, city center, and bay steps away and the beach a short scenic walk away. Angel was an excellent host and made me feel at home and part of the team right from the beginning. He has amazing recommendations for both in and outside of the city. So few working hours made day trips to neighboring towns/beaches quite easy! The hostel hosts a wide variety of travelers from university students to pilgrims making everyday unique!

I really enjoyed my stay! The hostel is a cute place at a great location and Angel very nice and always helpful. The work is easy and the hours are always respected, so you still have plenty of time to explore Santander and the surrounding areas. There was always a good atmosphere with other volunteers and the guests in the hostel!

My time at the hostel has been lovely. Angel and Andrea were very welcoming from the beginning, making every effort to help us feel comfortable and at home. They're always open to listening to any concerns or complaints you have, and they often give advice and recommendations for the city to enjoy your stay as much as you can. The schedule is very fair and clearly communicated and it allows for a lot of free time to explore santander. I'm grateful for my time with the hostel💛 I would stay longer if I could.
