Julio and Erendia are really warm and nice persons and are always happy for company. The ranch is really beautiful and remote with a hilly landscapes and there are a lot of orange trees where you can collect oranges and eat them directly, what I really enjoyed. The work at the ranch is really easy and actually there isn't that much work, so if you decide to da volunteering there be prepared that you will have quite some free time. A really relaxing stay there. The facilities are kind of simple and I found the beds quite hard but I'm also quite delicate about my sleeping conditions. 😌

My stay in the ranch was really refreshing and peacefull. Don't expect 5 stars hotel service ahah but Julio and Erendita are really nice and always happy to have company and to share their knowledge with you. Its a small ranch with some different animals and the tasks can vary every day, but there is no pressure and you will have plenty of time to chill and rest. Really good if you want to try a different experience far from the city 🙂

Are great hostesses, they are from the old school, for me that is a quality that I appreciate, they're also and great with the land and animals, we must try to learn their knowledge before is all gone. Julio loves to work with his animals and make the shores very simple.. at least that is how I felt. This been my first time doing this, I must agree that I had a great time.. I loved meeting Erendida and Julio; they were wonderful people who give you all they have and make you feel at home. I really enjoyed every task I did, from taking care of the animals to helping Julio in the field. Honestly, the first night I arrived was a bit tough, as it's a big life change and a total countryside experience. Overall, the experience has been very good, and I know I will have a place where I will be welcomed with open arms whenever I want. Thank you very much.

Living on the 5 yakas farm was a good experience, with very pleasant moments with the family. The place is beautiful and calm, ideal for those seeking contact with nature. Don Julio and Eréndira are very kind and attentive. It is important to consider that the farm is a warm and humid place, that faces drought periods every so often, therefore it is normal to have insects and animals, such as ants, mosquitoes, mice, among others. I recommend going prepared with insecticide, a repellent, sunscreen and antihistamines. The volunteer area has a dry bathroom.

Fue una experiencia agradable, me sumergirme la granja naturaleza, es un lugar donde pierdes la noción del tiempo. Don Julio y la señora Erendida siempre me hicieron sentir como en familia, ellos son muy amables y siempre están al pendiente de uno. Gracias por la experiencia y todas las anécdotas que me compartieron, los llevo en mi corazón. la granja 5 Yakas es un lugar ideal para crecer como persona, en mi caso fue muy terapéutico porque me ayudo a reconstruir aspectos de mi vida personal. Aquí encontrarás belleza y paz en tu corazón; en los atardeceres, las luciérnagas, los naranjos, la deliciosa comida casera, los animales y la amabilidad de Julio y Eréndira. Es una vida sencilla y rústica en una granja, así que trae contigo todas tus comodidades. El trabajo es sencillo y bastante relajado. Llegué aquí sin apenas saber español y, a pesar de eso, me trataron muy bien. Desde visitar a amigos y familiares, el mercado de Álamo, hasta que Julio me permitió montar a caballo mientras intentaba pastorear las ovejas (¡fue divertido! 😆), siempre recordaré con cariño el tiempo que pasé

Pasé 3 semanas en el the farm ! Fue una experiencia increíble! Me sentí como un miembro de su famila. Tuve la suerte de pasar navidad y nuevo año con ellos. Ayudé la familia a cuidar a los borregos manejando un caballo ! Es divertido y fácil !
