The Experience
Open 7 days a week, our World Peace Cafe is a popular destination for both international and local visitors. Each week we see thousands of visitors come to enjoy the tranquillity of MKMC and the surrounding natural environment. As a volunteer in the cafe, you will be cherishing our guests in practical ways such as food and drink preparation, coffee making, cleaning and customer service.

Wonderful experience, all those present at the project monks, volunteers, residents, managers are all very kind and interesting:) The nature around is very beautiful too. I recommend it if you want to meet and create links with persons who are from all around the world and practice English. I left after 3 weeks with a lot of amazing memories.

My experience at the project was truly great. the project is really enchanting and so well kept too. It creates a peaceful and cozy atmosphere to live in. Initially, I was planning on staying 2 weeks but I ended staying 3 weeks because I didn't want to leave yet. I made lots of friends and I met a lot of interesting people during my time there, everyone was so respectful and kind. I would highly recommend volunteering at this the project, as it offers a great opportunity for personal growth and connection with others!

This was my first experience as a volunteer and it has been truly wonderful. It has allowed me to see things from a different perspective and has given me the opportunity to connect with other travelers and my surroundings. It is for everyone, but if you are interested in Buddhism this is a great opportunity. I am grateful to have met wonderful people along the way who have made me a better person.

Volunteering at the project Buddhism was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is peaceful and inspiring, the community is welcoming and kind, and everything about the volunteer program was well-organized. I felt truly appreciated and enjoyed every moment of my time there. The opportunity to contribute while also learning and growing in such a positive environment was something I'll always cherish.
