Thanks, Swami Ji, for having me at the Center. This was my first volunteering experience, and I am really happy I chose the Center. It's a peaceful and safe place away from the city, with good food. I got to try new things like painting and path decoration, which was a fun experience. Starting the day with meditation and having a fixed work time was also really nice. Overall, I had a good time here and would definitely recommend the Center to anyone looking for a peaceful and unique experience.

I spent two amazing weeks at the Center, and it was the perfect way to start my travels in India! The place has a peaceful energy to it that just makes you feel very comfortable and connected. I was cutting grass and mulching the trees, doing some general cleaning, picking up and sitting fruits…whatever was needed☺️. They have a lot of fruit trees and the mangoes and the gravas are amazing!! I learned about meditation, and I made some good friends during my stay who also showed me around and told me a lot about India and Haryana. I definitely recommend this experience!

The Center is a fabulous place to connect with the nature and have a good retreat experience. This place has such a good energy for meditation where you can learn a lot about Ayurvedic wisdom among other things thanks to Swami.

I'd like to start with mentioning the love, kindness, patience, understanding that you receive throughout your stay from the hosts. They can also teach you challenging meditations, dance therapies, give you valuable advice. AnandGram is a vegan center, where you'll mostly be served with veg/Indian food/cook for yourself with provided ingredients. To go to the city - Karnal - takes around 1.5h by walking and local bus. There are some stores nearby to get snacks and you can ask the hosts to call a person who'll bring fruits/veggies which you can buy. There's also very beautiful nature:)

The Center is this sanctuary in nature, very peaceful place to stay. The volunteer will need to be able to work on their feet without much supervision, and understand the ever changing nature of the place (at times your room will be used for meditations for example) so strong adaptability required. If you go with the flow, it is such a deep experience on the countryside of India, perfect to understand the village way of life. Swamiji, Ekaant and Rabia are kind and welcoming. Recommended for sure!

I had a great stay at the Center, with excellent food and very welcoming people. I was able to participate in meditation sessions, and the place is surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful break during my journey through India. Some detais in the listing, such as cooking and wifi, are not avaliable, but its flexible if you ask them. We also had some initial issues with the work arrangements, as mentioned in other reviews, but once we agreed on a clear work plan with the team, everything went smoothly.

Anandgram - A serene place nestled in nature, it's a Health & Mindfulness Centre that offers a soulful retreat. With organic farming, pure vegetarian meals, and fruits straight from the orchard, it's a haven of mindful living. Daily meditation grounds you, while inspiring programs for local school kids add heart. Meeting travellers from France, Israel, Sweden, and Indian cities creates deep connections. Anandgram is where simplicity meets peace—a space to breathe, reflect, and live by discovering oneself. Strongly recommended! Thanks.

It is a quiet place, you can appreciate India in a different way, connect with your interior during your free time and the tasks to be performed are quite simple, you have the opportunity to connect with locals and of course other volunteers.

My stay at the Center was a positive and authentic immersion into rural India. The accommodation is decent but basic—be prepared for cold nights—with functional bathrooms. The food, however, was excellent. My tasks were varied, from cleaning and field work to creating digital content. As a beginner, I learned meditation from Rabia, and host Swami was always kind and resolved any issues. The best part was the cultural exchange, including visits to welcoming local villages. I highly recommend this for travelers seeking a genuine, rustic experience close to nature.

The place itself is nice the host is also okay. From the list of things offered for the volunteers the meditation is the only one i saw happening (it seeme nice i couldnt join cause i was feeling sick). Maybe they do have more activities if u ask, but since no information was given i assumed they didn't have. The job its very heavy it didn't feel like a volunteering ...felt like a part time job that u don't enjoy. Also no breakfast is available... again in contradiction of what was offered in here. I wish all the best to everyone there. Thanks 🙏

Dear Thiago,
This is a holistic retreat center for healing and dropping seriousness. Meals are at 11 AM and 5 PM, clearly mentioned in our profile and on the notice board—you knew this. To join activities, check the board, ask someone, or talk to the admin. But you showed no interest or participation. I invited you to the temple, but you didn’t come. Even later, you stayed distant. Volunteering also means being a bit social. Opening up helps the healing.

Warm regards.
