If you want to volunteer and you don't know where to start, this is the place. The owners, Edgar and Elizabeth are very warm and clear with what they want, I had never worked as a receptionist and they took the time to assist me on my daily duties being available at any time for questions. From the begging Edgar told me that all the spaces for guests could and are meant be used by the volunteers. They expressed wisely what was done properly and what could be done better. I felt valued at all times. Working ours were always respected. I definitely recommend the hostel!

I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. Edgar and Elizabeth are two kind and caring people who truly put their hearts into the hostel. Santa Fe attracts a wide variety of travelers and this allowed me to meet so many incredible and interesting people from all over the world. The work itself is laid back, and the shifts are timed perfectly so that you still have time to do plenty with your day. There is so much to see and do in La the hostel and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to explore and get to know this area!

My time here was awesome, the hosts (Edgar and Elizabeth) made me feel at home all the time, even at the beginning when they were not there, their amazing receptionist (Naty) was there to support. They really care about their clients, and are committed to provide the best experience in the area, so it is important to follow and respect their work guidelines and be willing to help in everything. The place is cozy and warm, and it is a great meeting point with other volunteers like Tamara, and Kayleigh who contributed to an unforgettable experience here, I will always cherish my memories here.

From the first day this place is home, the hostel is a nice and cozy place and especially the people that work there make you feel part of the family right away! Shifts are easy and give you enough free time to explore all the things around La the hostel, which is also very much worth it! Thank you Edgar, Eli, doña Andrea, Nati, Fer and my fellow volunteers Ance and Josue, hopefully we will meet again! <3

My time with them went so fast! I'm very happy that I got the chance to stay with them for 2 weeks. They are a lovely and happy couple with a cute dog. The hostel is very nice in a great location and with a big kitchen. They were very kind in organising a get-together dinner before I leave and gave me a ride to San Jose which I really appreciate! There are some things to improve in the hostel but in overall it was a good experience with very kind and generous hosts!
