The experience

Organic gardening, helping with the animal, painting, maintaining yards, pond care.
Each person helps out depending on their strengths and interests. While it is always helpful to have specific knowledge--of building, art, agriculture, cooking, design, etc--we accept any volunteer who has a positive attitude and is ready to help and learn!
Food is provided, cooking duties are shared and are not included as part of work duties.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 20 and 70 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Each day there will be set tasks for that day.

Activities & Shift

5 - 6 hrs a day, with 2 days off you can explore the area and all it has to offer. We are on ot the top destinations in the world so there are many things to do close to us. The help is mainly physical work, including painting, maintenance work, mowing, building, cooking, cleaning, improvements in general, planting and gardening.

We are also looking for one traveller to help with the cooking, mainly vegetarian with some fish and our farm animals.

We are open to all ages, experiences, and different lengths of stays. We get a-lot of interested so for your application to be taken seriously we ask for an introduction video with your application. We feel at video gives us a good sense of who you are before we both make time for a video call. Many Travellers have these in this in their profile, we accept links to videos on YT as well.

Rules

*Our Volunteers must NOT smoke or vape, including marijuana.

*Social drinks are accepted at your OWN expense. You will be considerate towards others at all times and participate in daily routines such as general cleaning, meal preps, and maintaining main areas such as kitchen, bathroom, kennel, chicken coup, sheep house, and all living and entertaining areas clean daily.

*We provide a mainly vegetarian diet with some lamb and chicken from our farm.
