The Experience

UPDATE: Our manor recently suffered a large fire and is not habitable. We still have guest rooms in the dormitory but our accommodations and calendar are more limited and our tasks are more construction-y We are a creative collaborative coliving community. Our task list is always overflowing with tasks including gardening, computer stuff, painting, driving, construction, etc. You have flexibility to choose days and times and what to work on.

This was a great first experience for me with worldpackers, the people were very welcoming. They all had just gone through a fire and everything was a bit in the air, I think the many goal for me was to bring a little bit of orden and peace in daily tasks in the midst of the caos.

We can't speak highly enough of this place. The work was always fair, and it felt like we were contributing to a community rather than just volunteering somewhere. Not only was this a fulfilling Worldpackers experience, we also found comfort, creative inspiration, and friendship. What Victoria and Sparr have done here is truly amazing. We extended our stay twice! Unfortunately, we experienced a tragedy while staying here; there was a fire (cause unknown), but we all made it out safely. Despite everything, we still would have chosen to come here. This place definitely transformed our lives.
