Beautiful place, silence, kind people, light and simple tasks to fulfill, less hours than requested, very comfortable accommodations. Keep in mind that you will be in the almost untouched nature of the desert, home to many animals, including tarantulas, snakes and mice. The nearest medium town is a two-hour drive away. So if you are very urban this is not a place for you. If you enjoy nature, want to internalize yourself, practice English and be welcomed by very special and kind people, run there. Pat, Saci, Cat, Sunam, Patrick, Joe… I brought all of you in my heart to Brazil 💓

It was a wonderful experience at the Center and I hope to come back soon. I learned a lot and made friends for a lifetime! Very happy to have done this volunteer, and I already miss you everything.

This was any first Worldpackers experience and I had so much fun! I stayed with Susan, the hospitality leader, and she was amazing! The valley itself is beautiful, as it's full of wildlife and vegetation (at the time of my stay). I would totally recommend this opportunity for others! If you plan to stay for only a week, be sure to bring extra money for weekly trips to the grocery store.

Host and Team- everyone was so nice, energetic and welcoming with big smiles. Position- When I applied I thought we were just going to build a small trail for the Center but when they shared their plans on the trail it turned out the trail will be a world wide destination spot and I was honored to be apart of something so big. WORK- it's definitely what I expected when building a hiking trail. Everyone is so uplifting and energetic when working and let you take as many breaks as you need. Thing to bring would definitely be water good shoes and a hat My overall experience was awesome
