Sol Rosa is a school of regeneration and sustainable development, and ecotourism; therefore the environment generated is one of study, research, pedagogical experiences, self-knowledge, direct relationship with nature.
There is no permanent internet connection available and in the territory there is no mobile data signal. We have the possibility to connect to Wi-Fi at a daily or weekly cost.
Six hours of work per day, from Monday to Saturday, from 8:00am to 11:00 and from 5:00pm to 8:00pm;
in the rest of the day there is time to read, research, deepen in the topics you are working on during the morning, work on your projects, rest and/or share in common space. We recommend taking advantage of this time to continue obtaining knowledge that calls our attention, respecting that space through silence and the calm.
In addition to the working day, there is a function of Loving Services that we all fulfill; there are 4 groups that take care of the organization and cleaning of each shared space such as bathrooms, living room and dining room, kitchen, breakfast and dinner. So there is also time in the day to fulfill these services, not much time since it is done as a team.
For the month of August and September we are looking for a couple or individuals who feel comfortable staying alone at the ranch, preferably they have a driver's license and know how to drive an automatic car. There will be a 15-day trip each month and we need someone who can take care of our animals, the space and occasionally clean the cabins we rent.
Just as any volunteer can leave the space whenever they wish, Sol Rosa also has the right to ask the volunteer to leave the place at any time. This will only happen if the volunteer does not fulfill their duties, does not meet the convivencia agreements, has behaviors that affect the tranquility of the space or the integrity of any person who lives here.
