You should know that is very difficult to get here, so plan your trip beforehand (trains, taxi, etc). You spend a lot of time here because its a very remote place. The nearest „town“ is 25 minutes by bike. Is nice that they let us use the bikes freely and the food is vegetarian but you will never be hungry. There are morning shifts which start at 6 in the morning and evening shifts which starts at 14:30 or 15:00 until 21:30. Sometimes the work is heavy because there are not enough volunteers or because there are too many guest! Overall is hard work but you will have fun and learn a lot about u

The Center was a Home away from home! The other workies were so welcoming and helped me get settled in. Everyone was so kind and supportive with all of the work tasks. The work tasks were nothing like I expected, but better, I started with housework which I honestly wasn't looking forward to, but the others made it fun and easy! Kitchen work was a ton of fun as well. Even with working 6 hours a day we still had so much fun with all of the others, fires, movies, music and getting to know all of the others and their respective cultures. Absolutely loved it here, highly recommend!

I had the best time in the Center, it's the perfect place to relax and get in touch with nature. Working with the other worldpackers and hotel workers has been a lot of fun, thanks to all of you! The room, the food and the yoga classes were all great. Compared to my previous workaway experiences, it felt more like a job than an exchange. I didn't had much chance to talk to the owner and we were treated in the same way as the other workers. I expected this before coming and I was looking for a place to relax during my holiday so it was perfect for me, but just be aware of this in advance.

This was my first Worldpackers experience. I found an amazing place, incredible people, and myself in the process. If you're looking for having fun enjoying the little simple but beautiful things of life, this place is a good fit for you! You get what you give, I suggest you take the job seriously and be respectful of it while also having fun. A big hug to the team, bis bald!☀️🪷🧡

The place is magnificent, the work can be a little tiring at times but nothing too difficult. The food is delicious and the rooms comfortable. The place is a bit isolated but you can go every time as you want on some nice bike rides! If you find a great group of volunteers the experience will be truly wonderful :) Thank you so much everyone.

Volunteering at this the Center hotel was a truly special experience. The peaceful setting was wonderful, but what made it unforgettable were the amazing people I met from around the world. We quickly became like family, sharing stories and creating lifelong memories. This place is more than just a the Center—it's a community. I'm so grateful for the connections I made here. Highly recommended!

I came back to the Center for the second time and I wouldn't regret it at all. I enjoyed my stay there soo much, mainly because of the wonderful people. Everybody is really kind and ready to help. The yoga classes, cacao ceremonies, walks in the forest, bonfire nights, bike rides into a small town Hitzacker and the time spent with the other volunteers were amazing <3 thank you for all the unforgettable moments :) I recommend this place a lot.

I had an absolutely amazing time at the Center. the surrounding area is beautiful and i'm going to miss my bike rides into the beautiful local town called Hitzacker, or into the forests surrounding the Center. All of the fellow volunteers are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet and i've made some forever friends :) the accommodation was perfect and so comfortable. The breakfast & dinner were always delicious and i can't reccomend the Center more to anyone who is thinking about going :))

I had an amazing time in the Center. The place is pretty and the work is ok (not too tiring). If you like nature, this place is made for you! I would however recommend to learn a bit of German to communicate with your colleagues and the guests.

It's been one of the best months in my life, truly. Far away from daily responsibilities and social obligations, hidden in the nature, provided with healthy diet, daily yoga classes, large, beautiful and fully equipped rooms, meditation sessions, sauna and bicycle accessible nearby local towns; for me - at that moment in my life - everything I could wish for, and more. Facilities are great, you share the room with other volunteers. Hours of work are as advertised, and you work along employees, but there's plenty of time for rest and socializing. German classes are great. It's a remote location
