I only worked here for a couple days and unfortunately had to move on because of circumstances. The fact that several travellers stayed here to live in the hostel permanently, says enough. It truly is very well located with an amazing view and close to everything. We could see some whales just from the terrace! I am grateful for the understanding and support that I reveived from Francy and Elaine. I will be back!

The hostel was fabulous. They have a beautiful community of people and really make an effort to make you feel at home. The stunning nature and beaches around the hostel are amazing and the view every morning is gorgeous! Theres a fair amount of work when cleaning, but the atmosphere and people make this place a dream! Thank you the hostel! I will always remember you!💕

Loved my time at the hostel, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it. The hostels location is great and the owners Douglas and Elaine really make sure that you feel welcomed and safe. Truly a great hostel to live out new experiences!

Elaine, Douglas, isa, and Pedro are an amazing, generous family! the Hostel is beautiful with the best view of ocean and mountains where you can feed monkeys everyday. It's Great!!!!! Our problem was with the manager who is a man child who does absolutely nothing at his job and seems to be having a life crises because his girlfriend is leaving. There no guests here, only volunteers, I can see why.... Our stuff constantly went missing, headphones, food, clothing and someone broke my very expensive watch. I have been in hostels for 4 years traveling and never wanted to leave a hostel so bad.

Gostei demais do meu período no hostel. O hostel é bem tranquilo, do ladinho da praia o hostel da Lagoa e com uma vista linda. Bem localizado próximo de mercados e restaurantes. Toda as pessoas envolvidas no hostel são muito hospitaleiros e te fazem se sentir bem estando lá. Os horários de voluntariados são respeitados, porém são super flexíveis e abertos a conversa. Recomendo muito.
