I had such an amazing experience here! The work was easy and the hours were very reasonable, so I had plenty of time to relax and explore. From the beginning, I felt like this place was my second home. The nature and beaches around Porto Covo are absolutely beautiful, with some of the most incredible sunsets I’ve ever seen. The whole place has such a peaceful, cozy, and welcoming vibe. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and special volunteering experience!

I had the most AMAZING firsttime-voulenteeringexperience at the hostel! The work was easy to learn -5 hours a day 5 days a week followed by 2 days off. On your days off you Could either Stay in the hostel or go visit another town. The staff is absoulutely amazing! Very welcoming and kind. I instantly felt at Home and very safe. The experience and the staff has taught me so many amazing things. I had the best time at the hostel! Thank u to everyone who was there doing my Stay! I Can not reccomend enough! I am FOREVER grateful🫶

My stay at the hostel was the best first volunteering experience I could have asked for. Everyone on the staff was very welcoming and always willing to help. The tasks were diverse, easy to learn, and the working hours were respected. It was possible to plan short trips during days off and enjoy free surfing lessons! Carolina cares about the volunteers and actively takes steps necessary to make the conditions better and better. the hostel is a tiny, quiet village but has beautiful coastlines, and with multiple volunteers present at once and an engaged staff, it never gets boring:) Highly recommend!

It is such a cute place, the staff is amazing and funny, the view is a 10/10 and I really enjoyed the work. ✨ There is plenty time between the shifts where you can walk around, go to the beach, or just stay at the hostel and enjoy the views 🌸 The only thing why is not a 5/5 is becouse of the staff house but there are making step by step renovations, so it will be good soon! A lot of love to the amazing kitchen team & Joana, they have the heart on the right place! I will miss you all 🫶🏽

Coming back to the hostel is a wonderful experience all the time. I think the hostel is a perfect spot to just be, the people make every day an incredible experience and I'm so glad that I had to connect with so many amazing people on my journey, I really advice going to the hostel because your soul will be at peace. The work it self it's really easy and gives you opportunity to really meet people from all over the world. I really am thankful for the time spent togheter.

I spent three amazing weeks in the hostel and I think it was my best volunteering experience so far. The place is lovely, close to the beaches, and the atmosphere there is very friendly, I have to admit I felt right at home. I'm so grateful that i had opportunity to go there and meet this people, i made lifetime friendships. Carolina is so nice and supportive, if you need something you can always ask her. Tasks are also so simple, we had to work 5h a day, 5 days per week but if you need more free time to explore some places, you can discuss your schedule. Big love and shoutout season 3

I met amazing people who quickly became like a little family, and I always felt welcomed, supported and free to be myself. the hostel itself is a beautiful place, run by wonderful workers who somehow always know how to be the right person at the right moment. I would recommend this experience both to those looking for connection, fun and meaningful relationships, and to those who simply want peaceful moments with themselves — watching the beautiful the hostel sunsets over the ocean while listening to some Portuguese music.
