I absolutely loved volunteering at the hostel! It's a beautiful hostel with a relaxed vibe and it was in a GORGEOUS location. There's 180 degree views of the ocean and the sunsets were some of the best I've ever seen! Francisco was a wonderful manager, he's a great leader and communicator and he always had a smile on his face. The rest of the hostel team were amazing and super friendly too, we had a lot of fun! My month of volunteering here went super fast, I wish I could've stayed for longer!

Overall it was a privilege and an incredible experience to be able to spend a month at the hostel. I was able to meet a lot of travelers/locals, enjoy beautiful sunsets and enjoy the surrounding areas. Francisco the manager, is a great leader, creating a relaxed and fun culture amongst the staff. He invites you surfing, to do activities and ensures you are having the best time. The tasks and duties involved checking people in, helping out in the rooftop bar and at breakfast. These tasks are what you make them and you have a real opportunity to feel like you are contributing to peoples vacations.

Despite my short stay, there are not enough words to express how fortunate I feel to have stayed at the hostel. It's undoubtly an exceptional environment to both live and work in. I had the privilege of working at the rooftop bar, the tasks were simple, yet I got to savor those unforgettable sunsets everyday. Francisco, the manager, is a hardworking leader who delivered on every promise associated with the position. Porto Covo is breathtakingly beautiful and populated by warm-hearted people. I felt completely at home, and I genuinely can't wait to return for future summers. Highly recommend!

It was absolutely amazing! Awesome experience being around nice people from all around the world while enjoying the nature and the chill vibes of Porto Covo. I fell in love with every little piece of this cute small town and the hostel is the most beautiful hostel I've ever been. The pool and rooftop are beautiful and you can see a perfect sunset while drinking and laughing with the people you meet. The job is simple and you have time to laugh and have fun with the others volunteers and colleagues. Totally recommend! 🥰🥹

My experience at the hostel was amazing! I made incredible connections, immersed myself in the local culture and made a family. There were some problems with schedules, administration and the room is a little tight but I'm sure Chico the manager is doing his best and everything tends to be even better very soon! It has a great breakfast and a very welcoming atmosphere. I cannot fail to mention that Porto Covo is one of the most beautiful and charming cities I have ever known. I highly recommend this experience!
