The Experience

Handy person required for maintenance inside and outside of house, build a walk in wardrobe, field maintenance, woodwork required, cement work, laying a few bricks to stop rain getting under doors in yard fencing repairs in appropriate weather, clean guttters on stable roofs, felling small trees, various jobs. I have 1 cat and 3 dogs and at the moment a horse. None smoker and positive person a MUST! This is not the place for lazy people

The most remark Worldpackers experiences. Ms. Gwendoline is a very talkative person and will be genuinely interested in knowing more about you. She also will share some experiences and cultural things and typical English foods (Great cook). As I was the only volunteer during the experience, It was just the two of us and the animals. You must be a dog person if you want to come because you will be with in touch with 3 dogs and 1 cat. Ms. Gwendoline is very organized with the animals and her house. She always tried to have the environment clean and cosy. I recommend this opportunity. Thanks 🙏

I stayed at Gwen's house for 2 weeks and it was an enriching period. Gwen is an amazing person, friendly, kind, great for talking and telling stories. I learned a lot of things during the time I was at her house, things that I myself imagined I wouldn't know how to do. This period was great for improving my English, I left much better than when I entered. The house is great, cozy, I will miss Bonnie the dog a lot. The breakfast that Gwen prepares is incredible, it makes us feel at home, even though we are far away. That period will never be forgotten in my memory. Thank you for everything!
