I've spent the most amazing winter season I could have ever dreamed of in the home! The working hours were respected, there were always people ready to help if needed, the living conditions were great, and so were the people. I'll come back!

I spent 2 months in the home for the winter season and loved it! I met so many incredible people, everyone was super friendly and the work was fun. Work is 5 days a week, 5 hours + 30 min lunch and 2 days off. Working in the kitchen was a little busy sometimes but overall easy. They have a separate house for the volunteers, we did our own groceries and put it on a tab at the supermarket which was super convenient. They have ski gear available (depends on your size) and the lift is free! The only downsides were the lack of central heating and bugs. Thanks everyone at the home Resort. <3

This was our first volunteering expirience, and it was awesome. Even though the place is a bit remote, it has a lot to offer. Onsen is right across the street, there are bikes you can borrow, hiking trails, or you can just chill in the house with the biggest TV. Working hours are respected, the management is really friendly and easy to get along with. Would recommend to anyone!

I had a great time in the home. Fellow staff and management were all easy to get along with and I almost instantly felt at home. The nature is beautiful with many hikes and trails and the onsens are amazing, I would definitely recommend!

My volunteering experience in the home was fantastic! I enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. Dan, the other volunteers, and the beautiful nature made it truly special. Work hours were respected, and in our free time, we explored many hikes and local spots. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a rewarding and enjoyable volunteering experience.

The nature is gorgeous; there are plenty of hikes and onsen to enjoy. The house is old but comfy after you get used to it! It's pretty big so there's a lot of work to do to keep it clean. As other reviews said and as always in a group house, the cleanliness will depend on the group. I was there with a few people only and we all got along great while each mostly doing our own thing . I imagine in winter it's much more lively. Dan is quite nice and tries to be flexible but at the end of the day it felt much more like a job than a collaboration. You have to push a bit to get what you need!

Dan is a great guy, he's so cheerful very friendly, calm, funny, always giving some advices about how to znjoy the surrounding which is beautiful. The house is great too, big, nice matress, food wise the organisation is great too. I left a bit earlier beacause I felt a bit lonely since we were only two volunteers at this point. I got unlucky because i am sure when there is more people, the mood in the house might be amazing. I recommend !

I had a good time at the resort, Dan and his family are very welcoming and kind. I was very lucky to arrive in time for a school summer camp - so I got to help with that for a week and did some really cool activities with the kids. I helped one day in the beach, and then the rest of the time we painted the outside of a hotel they are renovating! Thanks for having me.

I just want to thank everyone on the team for an amazing time, I enjoyed it too much and I will miss you guys, I hope to see you all again soon, summer camp was amazing, and the challenges I had to overcome during my visit definitely made me grow as a person, food was never an issue, so I'm very thankful about it! If you're planning on coming here just bear in mind that the house won't clean itself the team of volunteers that stayed in the house and me worked hard to make it cleaner than we received it 'cause the last volunteers did not care about cleanliness at all. Thank you and ONWARD!

Highly recommended, it was absolutely remarkable experience, not only amazing place to be, but everyone tries to help and make you feel comfortable. Always share their experiences and knowledge, Dan and his wife are great people, you can learn many things from them. I would definitely come back again if I could in the future. Love from two “Ninos”❤️
